Jan Cockeram, our good friend and trainer, has
written a book incorporating her special techniques for working with
babies. It is titled: What To Do Before They are 1000 Pounds.
It is available locally at several feed and tack store, for the
Animal Hospital of Pasco, through this web site, or at
www.foaltraining.com. It
is a wonderful book with great tools for teaching babies, or older
horses as well. Plus, there are some great stories included as to
why we all need to practice what this book teaches us. |
